Extremely rare and imposing Danish linen cupboard c.1870. The shelves in the cupboard section at the top are fixed.
All dovetailed together of slow growth fine grained pine. The wood is gorgeous on this piece.
The drawers are strong and slide well.
We have had to replace the original hardware with this nice solid brass. The original locks are all working.
The molding on the lower left at the base is a replacement. The right ram's horn foot has a bit missing, but it isn't noticeable overall and is still very handsome.
The back is made of hand planed boards.
Fantastic Christian 8th top. The top drawer is a false drawer because in the back is.....Secret Storage!!!!!
