Unusual and unique Danish armoire c.1870
or earlier with its original bone hardware and appliques. This is only
the second time we have had what is in reality a linen cupboard from Denmark
with shelving and drawers.
Exposed dovetails on the back. The doors
open flat. There is a middle stile which we can move and attach to the
left hand door.
All pegged and dovetailed together. This
armoire comes apart to be moved.
We have the middle section to the original
back although it is not shown.
The top drawer is a false drawer. The bottom
two drawers will slide smoothly and are dovetailed.
