Lovely Danish armoire c. 1910 which comes apart and reassembles quite easily to be moved. Originally painted white and part of a bedroom suite which consisted of a large bed, vanity and nightstand.
All original, working lock and key, graceful cabriole legs. Veneer panels typical of the time period and handmade appliques.
This type of armoire was the first of its type to be used for clothes hangers - a new invention in the time period. Prior to this time, people hung their clothing on pegs.
Fully restored, excellent condition and awaiting your choice of finish.
