A very unusual Swedish corner cupboard made to fit into a particular corner. Instead of two even wings, it is longer on one side. c.1850 or earlier.
Lovely bowed front doors with original working locks.
All dovetailed and pegged, original solid base and moldings.
The original finish was painted. At some point in time, the paint was removed and linseed oil was applied. We can wax over the oil or apply oil paint if available, but not latex or milkpaint.
This is one of those pieces, that I wish you could see in person. It is extremely charming and we all want to take it home with us.
