Danish dresser c.1880, very strong and sturdy with rounded corners and beautiful bracket feet and great wood back. Drawers are dovetailed, slide smoothly. Original brass hardware with working locks which is lovely - we have never seen this hardware pattern before and it is really pretty.
This dresser was repainted we are guessing in the 1940's. The paint is worn in a good fashion, but needs something. Either more decoration -- or perhaps sanding down the rosy apricot color so it is more subtle and leaving the teal which is very handsome as is. Of course, it could also be repainted.
