Rarely found Swedish country dresser all dovetailed and pegged c. 1860 or much earlier. Sometimes called a bachelor dresser, intended for a very small abode.
Pale gray paint
finish, lovely scalloped apron and hardware. The locks are missing
so good there are pulls to open the drawers, which slide smoothly.
This is only the second
dresser we have had in 25 years that opens to a cottage table. I kept
the first one!

The paint is not at all likely to be original, but it is very beautiful. Brass drawer pulls.
