Swedish c.1850 in original garnet paint with white outlining and blaze
on horse. If you look closely at this photo...
you can see that a brush which was used to clean glass lamp chimneys was
inserted to serve as a nice bushy mane.
This horse originally had leather ears and no doubt a brushy tail as
well.
The head is exquisitely carved and very noble.
