This is a Danish coffee mill stand from a general store c.1880. A coffee mill similar to the one shown below would have been placed on or near this stand. The dovetailed drawers would originally been lined with metal for coffee beans. Original brass pulls on the drawers. On the door handle is stamped Jorgensen & Co. Partially restored.

Price includes full restoration, your choice of finish and delivery in our delivery district or a $200 discount to be used towards trucking.

$2450 Item #Apothecary 1107-12

Height 29 1/2" plus a 3-4" base

Width 46 1/2"

Depth 20 1/4"

Danish c. 1880 with original porcelain pulls. Some of the drawers have been replaced and will match the original drawers and can have the same porcelain pulls. We can also replace the porcelain pulls with bin pulls if you prefer.

This piece was obviously built in to a larger shop display unit and now will have to have moldings and feet added as well as possibly a back so that it be an individual piece of furniture. My husband, Borge, has restored many of these pieces and they are always very beautiful.

Price includes full restoration and delivery in our delivery district or a $200 discount to be used towards trucking.

Bin pull examples are on the hardware page.

Bun feet would likely be what we would put on the bottom....

we would pick the appropriate size

Then of course it would need a finish-either waxed or painted and examples can be found on our Finishes Page.

A Danish store counter c.1880 with large drawers and original pulls. Oak top which makes it perfect for tough kitchen usage. In excellent condition although unrestored at this time. Sturdy great proportions and practical. Would make a terrific center island, storage for office or den.

The drawers and back of this piece are veneer, very clean and neat. The upper handles are the originals, the lower drawer handles I think were replaced but by old pulls, all drawers are original and dovetailed.

The base is oak and has a nice toe kick.

It also fits very well on top of one of the apothecary units and could make great den or office storage! Unrestored as yet but excellent condition. Danish c.1800

$3400 Item #Apothecary 0306-1

Height 35" plus bun feet if desired would give 38" total

Width 68 1/2"

Depth 15 3/4"

Interior depth 14 1/2"

Exceptional store apothecary, Danish c.1880. Unrestored, but in excellent condition, all dovetailed drawers and beautiful original top. All the knobs are original which is very rare, one is damaged and I think we can repair it, another one has a bit cracked off and that one is useable but can not be made perfect again.

I stuffed my sweater in a drawer to give you an idea of the proportion of the drawers. This would be a good piece for an office or entryway for gloves and mittens but not for a bedroom dresser.

This piece originally had no back because it was built into the store wall, but someone put on a piece of masonite which fits well and looks nice.

Overall this apothecary is in excellent condition, extremely charming too!

Price includes full restoration and delivery in our delivery district or a $200 discount to be used towards trucking.
