The original brass hardware is lovely but the door bail is missing. I would like to try and save this hardware by putting a knob on the key escutcheon, if it won't work then we can discuss other hardware.

Dovetailed drawers and you can see the reverse side of the door has the raised molding, which was really an attempt with hand planes to get a piece of wood to fit!

Has its original pegs plus someone put in a clothes rod.

Classic two panel Danish armoire c.1880 made as a personal closet and sized to transport in the back of a horse wagon which is the same dimension as the back of a station wagon or an suv in fact. Although there is rod installed by someone perhaps in the early 1900's this piece is really not deep enough to hang clothes and we plan to install 2 or 3 shelves for you.

There is a repair done at some point in the past to the floor of the cupboard part. You can see a piece of veneer with black stain marks in one corner, perfectly clean and sturdy and we are leaving this as it is. The drawer also has some old repairs which add character to this piece.

Original working lock, all dovetailed and in excellent condition.

Spectacular tall and charming Danish single door armoire c. 1890. This piece comes apart and is easy to move up a narrow staircase, very easy to reassemble. This style of armoire was originally part of a bedroom suite for Danish city folks. Wonderful original cabriole legs and carving with a dramatic bow top.

Very early c. 1800 Danish armoire all pegged. The original hardware is missing and we will find something appropriate, also the bun feet had to be replaced. The entire piece is pegged together and is made of extremely thick dense pine typical of the time period.

Three shelves are included.

Don't mind the dark streaks, these will be washed out during the restoration process.

Amazing early Danish armoire c.1840, all pegged and dovetailed with fabulous barrel front door, original brass hardware. Someone along the way put in a clothing rod but it is too shallow for modern hangers so we will put in shelving (included in price). Some of the original pegs are still there.

This cabinet is in one piece. It has been oiled so is already a nice rich color and we would like to wax over the oil for you, color to be decided.

Exciting Danish clothes closet from c. 1900 with its original beveled mirror and outstanding top molding. This type of piece was intended as a clothes closet with hangars. The feet which were likely cabriole legs are gone but we can add on bun feet which will increase the height by about 3". Tremendous amount of storage plus a mirror!

This piece would have been taller but someone cut down the cabriole legs to fit in a smaller house! Pretty Danish arched front wardrobe c.1860 with drawer. In basic excellent condition, with original hinges and door locks but the original feet have disappeared and we plan to add on bun feet and of course hardware. Shelving too if you wish. This is a collapsible armoire. The base is not original, it disappeared along the way.

A classic armoire of the very early Danish type, prior to 1850 with cast iron lion paw feet! Excellent condition but of course needs to be restored. Comes apart to be moved.
