The pancake bun feet and columns as well as the hardware of course all original. The columns need some restoration because they are worn where the doors were opened against them, but it will be limited what we can do without ruining the appearance of age. Otherwise the cupboard is in excellent condition, sturdy with working locks and ready to hold your china. The top in actuallity sits on a backsplash and two turned columns (you will see original paint in one of the photos that we will remove to match the rest). Both upper and lower sections have glass doors with half carved decorative columns for each set. Outstanding workmanship on this piece, original feet too. Excellent condition. The panel to the right has a mirror, the other three doors have glass. We can of course put glass in the mirrored door if you prefer. This is a great hanging cabinet but we can also put bun feet underneath and it could go under a window for example. Feet would add about 3 inches to the height. There is one continuous shelf running all the way through. One of the little latches is broken and they are quite hard to use, so we plan on replacing all of them with pulls and magnets. Item #Sideboard 0305-1 Tower Server Danish c. 1900 Height 79" Depth 15" of center section Opening of center section across is 22" with the door open and 23 " without the door thickness. Interior space across is 26" Space from top of center cupboard to top of the little shelf 13 1/2" Width 60 1/2" Interior depth center 14 1/2" and towers 11" The center door measures 24 inches wide and will not open farther than pictured because it is on an interior hinge. This is the quintessential Danish dining room server but makes a lovely powder room vanity as well. The oval area is for the mirror which is of course included. The top of the center cabinet is oak, beveled delicately at the edges but my husband says he can replace it with pine if you like. We have the original mirror. Excellent condition, although not restored as yet. Comes apart in 4 pieces, easily reassembled.
