Sturdy and spacious for your storage. Interesting history...The top drawer was repaired and the right hand edge at the back, also repair on the gorgeous columns- but it is now fully restored and awaits your choice of finish and a tassel for the key! When we found this piece, the top drawer had been made into a false drawer and there were hooks inside to hang clothing. We made the drawer into a working drawer once again. Wonderful turnip feet, great door latches and look at how the cabinetmaker expertly thinned the door panels to fit. The feet are just teeny blocks and we would be happy to apply bun feet which will raise the height by 2 inches or so. These doors will open flat by the way and this cupboard is unusually deep-perhaps a good place for your tv? I think there may have been a top drawer but alas it is gone. Swedish c.1840. other view, other view	$1275 Item # cabinet 1226-1 TV cabinet possibility Very Deep. Height 42" Width 50" Depth 21" Danish cupboard c. 1920 with veneer door fronts, typical of its time period. Unrestored at this time but very good condition and unusually deep for its height. Outside hinges too so could be used for a tv! It was a built in piece so a very thin back has been added since it did not have one originally. Will be beautiful when restored and of course we will put hardware back on doors and drawers! Swedish cabinet very early 1800's in excellent condition.

This would make a nice hallway table for your keys or a small desk next to a guest bed.

I am sure it is not the original paint. It is a color called Madam Blue which was wildly popular in the 1930's.

I am writing the description with the drawer from this cabinet on my desk in order to try and describe the color which is a dreamy robin's egg blue. It is a blue with a lot of gray and a lot of yellow. I have tried twice to sneak this piece home with me--it is that charming!

This would make a perfect stand for a flat screen tv!

Original brass drawer pulls, leather hardware for the key escutcheons. Beautiful beaded molding, dovetailed drawers, even the sides of the drawers Impressive hand beveled back. Superb condition, sturdy and substantial.

This is the hardware on the door which is actually a drawer pull turned sideways. It is from the same time period and could b original, we won't know until we remove it but it is certainly as flamboyant and energetic as the decoration.
