It is in super good condition with its original grain paint. Fortunately it comes apart in pieces and is quite easy to move and set up again. Original working locks. |

the tape measure shows the point. The rack behind would remain for stability.

Item # Step0301-2 shelving, drawers and plate rack! This amazing unit is in two pieces. Plate rack, drawers, shelving, a complete kitchen wall! Height 97" Width 94 3/4" Depth 15" Height to base top 39" Unrestored at this time. Danish c.1850 or earlier. This piece is mainly pegged together including the boards forming the drawer bases. Rare early shoe feet. Hardware is original brass pulls so rarely seen intact and two drawers with locks. On the two drawers with locks I can see the remain of small holes where there must have been a pull that was used after the keys were lost. We will of course attempt to restore these locks, if not possible then we will fit a key to be used as a drawer pull or apply a brass pull, your choice. The wood is rough in appearance but very tightly grained like all slow growing hard pine used in that time period and with some sanding will restore beautifully. The top was apparently built into the ceiling and was cut to be removed, of course we will shape this top a bit for beauty. Price includes restoration and delivery in our delivery area. It is perfect storage for a rug hooker or a quilter. I would recommend not using the doors at all. It would also be outstanding storage for large art books. This is a HUGE impressive cabinet. You see only the top part in the thumbnail photo. Both top and bottom cabinets have their own doors. The top part is 14 1/2 inches deep and the bottom interior measures 16 1/2 inches. The exterior of the bottom is 18 inches deep. Body is 20 inches deep exterior, 16 inches interior. This piece was used in a school for classroom storage. We can add a bracket base or bun feet to the bottom cabinet which will add on about 3 inches more in height. Super condition, unrestored at this time. Danish c.1900. The top in actuallity sits on a backsplash and two turned columns (you will see original paint in one of the photos that we will remove to match the rest). Both upper and lower sections have glass doors with half carved decorative columns for each set. Outstanding workmanship on this piece, original feet too. Excellent condition. We have all of the molding strips etc needed to fully restore this piece. When restored will measure... The hardware is definitely replacement and we would be happy to remove it put on something else. Excellent condition . This is the hardware on the door which is actually a drawer pull turned
sideways. It is from the same time period and could b original, we won't
know until we remove it but it is certainly as flamboyant and energetic
