I think this piece might be English because of the shape of the drawer pulls, but English or Scandinavian it is a beautiful cabinet with dovetailed drawers and easily opening doors. It was vanished at one point then waxed and is in excellent condition. c. 1880

This is a Danish washstand c.1880 with its original hardware, feet etc which originally had a marble top. In order to accomodate all the requests we get for a powder room piece maximum 24 inches in width, we have raised the height and made a wooden top. This can be done with any wash stand cabinet type piece. Look for more possibilities on the washstand page.

We can adjust the size of the top of course. You can also put on a marble/stone/granite top of course if you wish.
