$1850 Item #painted cabinet 05228-1 Width 24" Height 26" Depth 12" Swedish cabinet meant to hang on the wall. The back is made of two planks look and you will see the tapered boards which fit the tree trunk growth. Working lock. Date of 1761 is correct, all pegged. The paint? We are not sure but I think the exterior paint is a repaint perhaps about 100 years old. It is possible that the blue paint is the original color. Original wrought hinges. Excellent condition. |

This cabinet would have been hung on the wall near the man of the house's chair and used to store precious brandy and tobacco. Outstanding carved diamond decorated door panel. The height is perfect for a little chair side table. |

Someone repainted this nice Swedish hanging cupboard with pretty blue paint. The cupboard itself has its original hardware and is about mid 1800's. The drawer was locked with a nail! Excellent condition and very charming. |

Its base long gone but we thought we would put feet and a base molding on this piece and it could be the nicest little cabinet. It could also hang on the wall or perhaps we will find a sideboard or a table for it to sit upon. Excellent condition, beautiful molding decoration, all dovetailed. Price includes full restoration. |
