Our lighting is all from Denmark and Sweden, most of it c.1920-1940. We can put on longer chains and different ceiling caps.


Cap alternatives if the original cap will not fit over your newly installed electrical ceiling box.

Possibility One: a new cap!









We can substitute either piece for the original cap if need be.

 Possibility Two: a wooden ceiling ring which we will provide!

Chain....we don't often have any spare old chain but recommend that you buy the equivalent from De Sherbinen's who have a good selection. They have antiques brass chain in various gauges for a few dollars a foot.

Lowe's also sometimes has some nice antique brass chain. A customer just told me that one way to darken chain is to wet in salt water then fume with ammonia, another way is to use brass darkener which is usually a diluted muriatic acid.





Here is some old Danish chain which we have 2 yards of for $20 a foot....




We also have new solid brass chain....$55 for a one yard length.


Inside of most caps there is a llittle loop which is hung on a large cup hook shaped hook which is screwed into a wooden ceiling stud...

 When we ship we generally remove three arms so that the chandelier can fit in a reasonably sized box. The screws will then be attached to the body...
