Shapely tall Swedish Mora clock, dated and signed. You can see the pegs used inconstruction of this clock peeking through the original grain and decorated paint.
This is a great sign of age. As the body wood shrunk in one direction the pegs which would were made on the long grain of the wood would remain the same length and start to show a bit.
