Danish Bornholmer clock c. 1880 and likely much earlier, all pegged and dovetailed. The works are cleaned and running very well. The lock is an interesting snap lock, in other words the key is needed to push the tongue of the lock and in and out and must be held there with pressure.

You can look in the little windows on the head and watch the works run. The chime is a simple light airy sound.

Excellent condition. Original lock and keyhole escutcheon.
