Swedish c.1860 unusually low which makes it handy beside a sofa in grey paint over red. Sturdy and handsome. Is the paint original? Well, it looks good really good but we honestly are not sure on this one. Grey has gotten so popular that there are many Swedish dealers out there with paint brushes these days. I can say that I took this one home to enjoy for a few days--that is how nice it is!

You can see a little rosehead nail on the one edge, how interesting! Excellent condition overall, sturdy and beautiful.

Impressive oval pedestal table, tea anyone? The base is birch veener that looks like faux wood and the top has I believe had its paint removed and I think it should be waxed a darker color, perhaps to cherry or a light brown to match the base better. We bought this piece in Sweden but it is Russian! Excellent condition. Teeny little painted black ball feet carry this piece.
