Swedish c. 1900 or earlier so interesting because the quiet blacks and blues have thin stripes of light green! This is a soft rug a bit nubbly with very early fabrics. Woven on linen I believe. Reds, apricots, light blues, summer geens, blacks, browns, multicolored with a bit of everything.

Swedish c. 1920 , fabric bound edges, extremely tightly woven, clean with one little rust spot that I just noticed. Purples, pale blues, apricots, greens, black, brown, wines. This rug seems to have a slightly darker mate on the this page. $195 Item# Rug Large 1009-4 which is slightly lighter but the same exact colors, these would work together if you need a stairway runner or two similar rugs in the same room. This rug on this page appears more beige.

Perfect for a narrow hallway. Swedish c. 1940. TIghtly woven clean rug with a myriad of colors...navy, pink, gold, burgundy, black white. Lots of early fabrics peeking out. Very handsome! This is a well say not heavy rug, but a thin one with an old fashioned feel to it. Suprising touches of peach lighten it up a bit. Swedish weavers were amazing, such a wonderful feel for color.
