The pancake bun feet and columns as well as the hardware of course all original. The columns need some restoration because they are worn where the doors were opened against them, but it will be limited what we can do without ruining the appearance of age. Otherwise the cupboard is in excellent condition, sturdy with working locks and ready to hold your china. $1850 Item # Stepback 0603-1 very narrow AND shallow Base Depth 18 1/2" Base width 33" Base Height 31" Base interior height 15 1/2" Top part interior depth 10" Top part exterior depth 12 1/2" Total Height 81 1/2" Danish step back cupboard in two pieces. Original glass but we will replace the hardware with something more attractive. This piece was oiled so after being waxed it will have a lovely deep patina. Veneer on cupboard doors which we can replace with glass if you like. It was wired for an electric bulb but it won't work on 110 so we will remove the wiring. Item # Stepback1016-1 Exquisite details! Small hutch. This small Danish cupboard has amazing detail. Please look at all the photos! The top in actuallity sits on a backsplash and two turned columns (you will see original paint in one of the photos that we will remove to match the rest). Both upper and lower sections have glass doors with half carved decorative columns for each set. Outstanding workmanship on this piece, original feet too. Excellent condition. We have all of the molding strips etc needed to fully restore this piece. When restored will measure... Item # Step0301-2 shelving, drawers and plate rack! This amazing unit is in two pieces. Plate rack, drawers, shelving, a complete kitchen wall! Height 97" Width 94 3/4" Depth 15" Height to base top 39" Unrestored at this time. Danish c.1850 or earlier. This piece is mainly pegged together including the boards forming the drawer bases. Rare early shoe feet. Hardware is original brass pulls so rarely seen intact and two drawers with locks. On the two drawers with locks I can see the remain of small holes where there must have been a pull that was used after the keys were lost. We will of course attempt to restore these locks, if not possible then we will fit a key to be used as a drawer pull or apply a brass pull, your choice. The wood is rough in appearance but very tightly grained like all slow growing hard pine used in that time period and with some sanding will restore beautifully. The top was apparently built into the ceiling and was cut to be removed, of course we will shape this top a bit for beauty. Price includes restoration and delivery in our delivery area. If you pick up or need to have this piece trucked, you can deduct $200. |
