I spotted this marvelous Swedish drop leaf table as I was trotting through a barn. It has slender tapered legs and beautiful wood. c.1870 or earlier. It will be very comfortable to sit at even on the ends because of the large overhang. Excellent condition.

This is a very comfortable small dropleaf table because of the large overhang on the short side. Easy to lift leaves and an easy one piece support underneath. The base of the table retains its original grain paint. The table top appears to have had its finish removed at some point and has darkened from sunlight. I would suggest either darkening this top or bleaching it to make it more attractive with the base. Sturdy and comfortable for puzzles or a small eating area. Swedish c. 1880
