Swedish pantry box in original red paint, c.1880 or earlier. Repair to one ear done at some point in the past. This box was used to store round bread. It is gorgeous. Look at photo of inside of the lid.

Rarely seen chalking board for whiting belts at military school. The chalk was stored in the box. The board would be laid flat for use.

Measures 38 long x 5 wide x 6 deep. Original green paint. Danish c.1880. We have only had a few of these and they are always green!

Danish sugar box with original lock and cutter. Removal drawer to the side instead of in front. This box is unusual on that basis. This box was used to store the sugar cone and to shave off whatever was needed for household use that day. Locked to keep the sugar addicts out! You kept the key on your waist.
